We celebrated Halloween a week late here at INSEAD since everyone was away on break for the actual occasion. Yes, we got a few smirks while walking in downtown Fonty, but that didn't stop us!
Karim and I headed to the nearest costume shop over in Pringy (yes, that's actually the name of the town) earlier in the day with our good friends Kelsey and Justin. Kelsey and I immediately gravitated to sparkly pink jumpsuits, and against Justin and Karim's wishes, we convinced them that it would be a STUPENDOUS idea to dress up as ABBA. Two sets of bell bottoms and two sparkly shirts later, Karim and Justin were set.

Karim and Liz as half of ABBA - or something |
We started off the night with a delicious dinner, courtesy of Antoine and Sophie. Our neighbor David showed up at dinner with a sparkly cowboy hat that matched Karim's shirt perfectly, so at that point his costume evolved into a gay Mexican cowboy. He is in fact growing out his mustache for Movember to raise funds to fight prostate cancer, but his mustache got a little help from my eye pencil. After dinner, it was off to into the boonies to Villecerf for the costume party. And after this point, the pictures pretty much tell the story themselves.

All in all, this was one of the best nights we've had in a while. Can't wait until next year! Sadly, the costumes were rentals so we'll have to find a new theme next time around.
