As many of you know, Karim and I will be moving to London this August. Karim will return to the consulting firm he worked for before INSEAD, but this time as VP at their London office. We have both enjoyed our time abroad so much and we're thrilled to make London our home for the next couple of years. In preparation of the big move, we decided to visit London and walk around the neighborhoods we're considering living in so that we could get a sense for what will be best for us. The break between Karim's 4th and 5th periods was the perfect time for this time, but that also meant that we were there during the weekend of the royal wedding. It was a fun time to be in London - most offices were closed and there were lots of festivities in the streets. Here are some random shots from our weekend there.
Also, if any of you know London real estate particularly well, give us a shout. We're looking for a 2 bedroom rental with lots of light and space for me to set up a small studio. Our favorite neighborhoods are Shoreditch, Hoxton, Angel, Fitzrovia, Notting Hill, South Kensington, Chelsea and Marylebone.
